🎓 Supporting the next generation of virology research!
PrecisionGo was delighted to sponsor the Australian Virology Society (AVS) 2025 Online Symposium Local ECR livestream hosted recently at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research. The afternoon showcased an impressive breadth of early-career researcher (ECR) work, spanning HIV, tuberculosis, herpesviruses, SARS-CoV-2, cytomegalovirus, and immune cell biology. From multi-omics analyses of viral coinfection, to immune exhaustion, viral latency, signalling pathways, and host–pathogen interactions, the talks reflected both scientific depth and translational relevance.
What stood out most was the quality of insight packed into short, focused presentations - and the way cutting-edge technologies are being applied to answer clinically meaningful questions. These are exactly the kinds of research pathways that benefit from integrated infrastructure, strong bioinformatics support, and close links between laboratory science and clinical contexts.
At PrecisionGo, we’re proud to support forums that elevate EMCR voices, foster collaboration, and strengthen Australia’s virology and translational research ecosystem. A huge congratulations to all speakers, session chairs, and organisers, and thanks to AVS for creating space for connection, learning, and celebration (wine, cheese, and best-talk awards included 🍷🧀).
